Pleasant Holidays appoints Beth Nickerson as vice president product & partner relations

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA – Pleasant Holidays  announced the appointment of Beth Nickerson as Vice President Product & Partner Relations. In her new role, Nickerson will be a key member of the executive team responsible for Pleasant Holidays’ global product development, including electronic connectivity to hotel partners. Focused on the Travel Agent market, Pleasant Holidays provides vacation packages including cruise vacations to the most popular leisure destinations in Canada, the Caribbean, Central America, Europe, Hawaii, Mexico, the South Pacific and the United States.

“A veteran of the travel industry, Beth has held leadership roles with online travel agencies, tour operators and airline vacation brands. We are confident her extensive experience in product development and partner relations will have a positive impact on the company as we continue to execute our strategic business plan to expand destinations,” said Jack E. Richards, President and CEO.

Nickerson’s chief responsibilities will include management oversight, leadership, development and execution of hotel, cruise, car rental, rail and other related travel products. Expert in building collaborative relationships and successful marketing programs, Nickerson is a results-driven professional with a proven track record in providing visionary leadership and coaching.

In addition to more than 25 years of experience in the travel industry, Nickerson holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Communication from University of North Carolina in Wilmington, N.C., and has done extensive volunteer work with several national youth organizations, including Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, Junior Achievement and Girl Scouts.

Pleasant Holidays is a member of the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) and an active member of the United States Tour Operator Association (USTOA) and participates in the $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program.
